ESDA Coordinator Dennis Lolli

The Winnebago County Emergency Services and Disaster Agency (ESDA) oversees emergency preparedness and response in the case of any weather, chemical or nuclear emergency or disaster. Emergency and disaster preparedness and responses are coordinated with all government entities.

During 2012, ESDA volunteers donated more than 166 hours in the performance of assisting other agencies, training and research and other services to government agencies and the community. During the year ESDA activated the volunteers 23 times, handled 19 weather emergencies and opened the office each time.

The ESDA Coordinator works with the Sheriff on planning for the Justice Center, Public Safety Building, Courthouse, Administration Building and other county-owned property in the event of a natural or man-made disaster.
