On Saturday June 11, 2011 the Ogle County Illinois Sheriff’s Department with the assistance of the Byron Fire Department recovered the body of Casey Chandler Sheets (20yrs old) from the Rock River near Byron. Sheets body was taken to the Ogle County Morgue and an autopsy will be scheduled by the Ogle County Coroner. Sheets went over the side of a pontoon on Saturday June 4, 2011 in Winnebago County. Kristopher Alan Zaugg (27 yrs old) has been charged with Reckless Conduct and is currently detained in the Winnebago County Jail. He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. The criminal investigation continues by Winnebago County Sheriff’s Detectives.
